The Buckfield Jr./Sr. High School Drama Club is set to present the play, “The Middle School Brain/The Secret Life of Catarina Brown” at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 18 and 19, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, in the auditorium at 160 Morrill St.

Both acts focus on the inner thoughts and struggles of a teenage girl as she navigates the social structure of middle/high school, according to a news release from Director Maria Reinstein.

The Middle School Brain by Deborah A. Cole — The brain of middle school is a complicated organ that scares many adults. This play gives a peak at how all the “components” work together to make one great kid.

Reinstein has been working to rebuild the theater program at Buckfield Jr./Sr. High School. The play features students from grades 5 through 11.

Tickets, available at the door, cost $8 for adults and $5 for students.
