Paul LePage still doesn’t get it. He claims that he lost to Janet Mills because Mainers care more about abortion that heating oil.
I don’t believe that.
He lost because Mainers are sick of his lies.
Yes, we are experiencing inflation that hasn’t been seen in years, but so is the rest of the world. And many other nations are seeing inflation that is much higher than in the United States.
To many people, myself included, the abortion issue is about freedom of choice. You know — like Paul LePage and the Second Amendment.
I also support the Second Amendment. What Mainers are tired of are the lies. Like the imaginary tax on groceries that LePage’s political ads talked about.
LePage insisted that he never said that Mr. Trump had not won the 2020 election. Rob Caldwell on Channel 6 asked him that several times during an interview that aired on the 207 show. LePage repeatedly denied it.
As soon as the interview was over, the station replayed a LePage interview taped after the 2020 elections when he stated that the 2020 election was stolen. So Mr. LePage, please go back to Florida and take your lies with you.
Perhaps the residents there will be more accepting of your lies than the people of our great state.
