This is in regard to the letter titled “Republican Party plagued by MAGA movement,” published in the Sun Journal Nov. 12.
I would like to respectfully remind the author that people who support the Republican Party ideology are just as diverse as the people who support the Democratic Party ideology. By saying that the Republican party is defined only by the MAGA movement would be, conversely, saying that the Democratic Party is defined only by “the Squad” and leftist wokeism movement.
All Republicans are not “MAGAs.” Each party has its share of those individuals with extreme agendas but, in general, it doesn’t represent the majority of either party.
It is time that we stop stereotyping people, and look at them as individuals with different ideas and opinions who should be heard and respected without intolerance.
