PARIS — On Saturday, December 3 there will be a Holiday Hoorah held at the Oxford Hills Middle School, 100 Pine St, Paris, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be basket raffles, games, crafts, and 50/50 raffle. Pictures with Santa will be offered for $5. Food and drink concessions will be available. Admission for kids will be $5, parents get in free. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Oxford Hills Class of 2026.
NORWAY — Come to our Mistletoe Mixer at the American Legion, 212 Main St in Norway on Black Friday, November 25, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, November 26 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be crafters and vendors, a ticket auction and a 50/50, plus homemade soup. Sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary. Proceeds from the the Auction and 50/50 will be go to underprivileged children’s Christmas gifts.
NORWAY — Beautiful handmade balsam Christmas wreaths will be sold on Saturday, November 19 and Saturday, November 26 from 9 a.m. until we run out, at the Second Congregational Church, UCC, 205 Main Street in Norway. All proceeds will benefit the many missions of the Second Congregational Church, United Church of Christ. Please come early and choose your wreath while the selection is abundant.
Texas Hold’em
LOCKE’S MILLS — Texas Hold’em will be played on Saturday, December 3 at Jackson-Silver Post 68, 595 Gore Rd. in Locke Mills. Doors open 11 a.m., games begin 1 p.m. $50 buy-in, high hand option. BYOB (Anyone under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian). Pull tabs. Meals and beverages available. For more information, call the Legion Office at 875-2375.
