Sun Spots, a daily feature in the Sun Journal that is a wealth of information and assistance to readers, turns 50 next month! With your help, we’re going to celebrate with a story on the popular column that will include thoughts and memories from readers who benefited from the column over the years.
If you’re one of those people and have a story to share, please let us know. Or if you have a favorite Sun Spots column, we’d like to hear more. Do you have any questions for Mrs. Sun Spots about the column or about how she goes about helping readers?
Whatever you’d like to share or ask, email Mrs. Sun Spots at [email protected]. Please include your first name and town in case she needs to get more information; it won’t be used in her story unless you approve it. The deadline is Nov. 22 but please reach out to her as soon as possible. We look forward to hearing from you!
Comments are not available on this story. Read more about why we allow commenting on some stories and not on others.
We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
You can read more here about our commenting policy and terms of use. More information is also found on our FAQs.
