LEWISTON — Avaya Desjardins’ hat trick paced Lewiston to an 8-0 win over Greely/Gray-New Gloucester in girls hockey action Wednesday at The Colisee.
Desjardins, a sophomore, has scored five goals in the Blue Devils’ (2-0) first two games of the season. Ava Geoffroy added two goals in Wednesday’s game, while Crew Langley, Taylor Melvin and Alyssa Marcoux each scored one goal.
Langley and Sadie Goyette had assists for Lewiston, and goalie Kim McLaughlin stopped all 12 shots she faced.
The Rangers fall to 0-2.
