WINDHAM – Robert D. Farnum, 83, formerly of Lisbon Falls, passed away Friday, Nov. 25, 2022 at the Ledgewood Manor Nursing Home in Windham.Those who grew up with him might remember him as “Peanut”.

He was born August 24, 1939 in Lewiston, the son of Dana, Sr. and Valerie (Pike) Farnum.

Robert attended Lisbon High School. He was a US Air Force Veteran serving mostly in California, being honorably discharged as a jet mechanic Dec. 8, 1960. He developed a fondness of California and spent the rest of his life either in California or Maine. He worked as a technician in the electronics manufacturing industry.

Robert’s favorite pastime was studying genealogy, having developed an extensive family tree over the years. One of his proudest accomplishments was obtaining his private pilots license in California.

He is survived by a sister Gail Griggs and husband Randy; two brothers Alan Farnum and Richard Farnum and wife Jane; several nieces and nephews.

Robert was predeceased by two brothers Dana Farnum, Jr. and Gary Farnum.

There will be no services held at this time. Burial will be at the Hillside Cemetery, Lisbon Falls.

Arrangements are with Crosman Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Lisbon Falls.
