Edith V. Roberge
BOWDOIN – Edith V. Roberge, 95, of Bowdoin, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022 at the Montello Manor in Lewiston.
She was born Feb. 21, 1927 in Bowdoin, the daughter of Emery and Anna (DuPont) Whitney.
Edith was a graduate of Lisbon High School, class of 1944. For many years she worked as an office manager for Mamouth Mart where she developed many friendships with her colleagues. She also volunteered at the Montello Manor.
She loved writing letters and sending cards. Her last birthday she received over 40 birthday cards from the many relationships she has continued nurturing.
Edith is survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister, Geraldine Whitney Wagg.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14 at the West Bowdoin Cemetery, West Road, West Bowdoin.
Arrangements are with Crosman Funeral Home, 40 Main St., Lisbon Falls.
