James F. McManus Sr.

LEWISTON – James F. McManus Sr., 76, was born June 2,1946, in Cambridge, Mass., to the late Raymond and Grace McManus and peacefully passed away on Dec. 8, 2022, at St. Mary’s D’Youville Pavilion in Lewiston, Maine with family by his side. Jim was fighting a lung cancer diagnosed made earlier this year. Jim’s sense of humor and love of the outdoors, especially time spent at “The Hunting Camp” in Brooks, Maine, will be fondly remembered. Jim was an avid hunter, fisherman, camper, and loved riding his ATV with his family and friends. Jim lived in Poland, Me with his wife Donna “Queen” of 58 years, also of Cambridge, Mass.

He is lovingly survived by his daughters, Teresa McManus and her fiancé Ed, Susan Brienza and her husband Philip, sons James McManus Jr. and wife Tracy and John McManus and his wife Amy. He is also survived by his brother Bryan McManus and wife Leslie and sister Eileen Pacheco, and late siblings Raymond and Cathy, 10 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.

As per Jim’s request, no funeral services will be held. Words cannot describe the care and kindness the staff at D’Youville Pavilion displayed in caring for Jim over the past few months.
