LEWISTON – Lionel J. Jacobs, 85, of Buckfield, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2022 at Central Maine Medical Center. He was born on July 27, 1937, son of Arnold and Dora (Wright) Jacobs.
He was a retired veteran in the U.S. Air Force where he worked in food service as a cook. He loved stock car racing at Oxford Plains Speedway, enjoyed cooking, and his mornings were spent at the Buckfield Mall with his son, Clay.
He is survived by his son, Clay Jacobs of Buckfield; sister, Evelyn Burnham, sister-in-law, Nancy Jacobs; and several nieces and nephews.
Lionel was predeceased by his parents Arnold and Dora Jacobs; his wife, Connie; and brother, Lew.
At Lionel’s request there will be no services. Spring interment will be at Damon Cemetery in Buckfield. Arrangements are under the care of Chandler Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, 45 Main St., South Paris. Online condolences may be shared with his family at http://www.chandlerfunerals.com.
