100 Years Ago: 1922

Mrs. Edith Nutting was hostess to the Current Events Club at her Middle Street home in Norway on Wednesday afternoon. Tho feature of the meeting was a splendid paper on “Recent Fiction,” read by Miss Andrews of Augusta.

50 Years Ago: 1972

The sixth graders of Frye and St. Mary Schools took time out last night to present a holiday musical at many downtown Lewiston stores, the Blake Towers, the station, the Sun-Journal building, and the St. Casimir Nursing Home.

25 Years Ago: 1997

The Reindeer Theatre Company will present its Annual Holiday Show, “The Reindeer Revue: A Kids’ Christmas Cabaret,” at 2 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Parish Hall, outer Congress Street.
