LEWISTON — The Dempsey Center recently received a $2,500 donation from Darling’s Auto Group.
The donation was the result of the auto dealer’s efforts to raise money during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. A portion of the proceeds from every vehicle sold by Darling’s Auto Group during the month was shared by four cancer organizations in the state, with the Dempsey Center receiving $2,500.
“Giving back has always been important to us,” Jay Darling, president of Darling’s, said. “Through the years, we’ve worked together to help support charities and organizations as they also seek to make a difference in our communities.”
