Pine Tree Society in Bath is conducting a statewide Community Needs Assessment survey to capture a detailed picture of service needs among people living with a disability in Maine.
The society plans to use the findings to better address challenges and barriers that prevent people living with disabilities from achieving a higher quality of life, according to a news release from the society.
Within this 10-minute survey, there are specific questions for different types of community members, including:
• Person with a disability;
• caregiver of a child or children with disabilities (under 18);
• caregiver of an adult or adults with disabilities (over 18);
• provider of services for people with disabilities;
• health care provider;
• school-based provider; and
• advocate.
The survey can be found online at pinetreesociety.org.
All responses will be kept confidential. This survey will close at 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, and the results will be shared this spring.
