Jeannette Libby

LEEDS – Jeannette Libby, 88, of Leeds, then Auburn, died on Jan. 2, 2023.

She is the widow of Hamlin Libby and is survived by long-time partner, Jerry Pepin. She is also survived by children, Donna Schilling, Woodrow Woods, Bonnie Melcher, Keith Woods and Laurie Wyndham; along with numerous other family members; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Jeannette worked as a counselor at the Abused Women’s Advocacy Project for 30 years, serving a vast number of victims of domestic violence. Her hobbies included oil painting, writing, traveling and enjoying time with family and friends.

A memorial service is planned for July 13 at 3 p.m. at the Leeds Community Church.
