PARIS — Teigan Pelletier scored 15 of his game-high 20 points in the first half to help lead Oxford Hills past visiting Windham 71-53 in Class AA North boys basketball action Tuesday.

Cole Pulkkinen and Tanner Bickford scored 18 and 16 points for the Vikings (16-1), who held Windham to 18 points in the second half after leading 41-35 at the break.

Owen Combes and Quinton Lindsay paced the Eagles (5-12) with 11 points apiece.

MT. BLUE 99, ERSKINE 49: Chandler Briggs hit six 3-pointers and topped five Cougars (12-5) who scored in double figures in the victory over the Eagles (1-16) in Farmington.

Briggs finished with 20 points. Evans Sterling added 18, Zak Koban scored 15, Carter Norton had 11 and Zach Poisson contributed 10. Mt. Blue scored 30 points in each of the first two quarters.

Tristan Anderson led Erskine with 11 points, including a pair of 3-pointers.

BOOTHBAY 64, TELSTAR 22: Gryffin Kristan scored 18 points and Luke Morley pitched in with 16 as the Seahawks (11-6) beat the Rebels (1-15) at Bethel.

Boothbay led 23-5 after one quarter and 33-5 at halftime.

Wyatt Lilly led Telstar with 11 points, an output that featured three 3-pointers.

MADISON 57, OAK HILL 32: Callan Franzose scored his 1,000th career point for the Bulldogs (10-7) in their MVC road win over the Raiders (4-14) in Wales.

Franzose tied teammate Deacon Murray for the game-high scoring output with 14 points apiece. Kayden Hibbard hit three 3-pointers and scored 13 for Madison.

Ethan Vattaso was Oak Hill’s top scorer with 11 points, and Landen Denis added 10.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
HAMPDEN 66, LEWISTON 42: Bella McLaughlin dropped in 19 of her game-high 25 points during a defining second quarter as the Broncos (10-7) downed the Blue Devils (4-13) in Hampden.

Hampden outscored Lewiston 22-7 in the second quarter after leading 12-6 after the first. Lucy Wiles added 15 points for the Broncos, including 10 in the second half.

Koral Morin scored all of her team-high 15 points in the final three quarters for Lewiston. Natalie Beaudoin added 13, also all in the final three frames. Ella Beaudoin’s pair of 3-pointers were the Blue Devils’ only points in the first quarter.

MADISON 71, TELSTAR 38: Raegan Cowen scored 23 points to lead the Bulldogs (12-6) past the Rebels (2-14) in Bethel.

Kylee Furbush added 11 points and Mackenzie Robbins scored 10 for Madison.

Morgan Zetts led Telstar with 17 points, while Karen Marshall drained three 3-pointers and scored 15 points.

BOYS HOCKEY
FALMOUTH 6, ST. DOMINIC 1: Aaron Higgins led the Navigators (11-2) with two goals and an assist in the win over the Saints (6-9) at Family Ice Center in Falmouth.

Jack Turgeon, Mitch Ham, Andrew Belliveau and Sam Belliveau each had a goal and an assist.

Brandon White stopped 19 of the 20 shots he faced in the victory.

Ben Dumais had a goal in the first period to give St. Dom’s a 1-0 lead. Timothee Ouellette set the tally up.

Jayden Lynn stopped 34 shots in the loss.

OLD TOWN/ORONO 6, CONY/MONMOUTH/ERSKINE/HALL-DALE/WINTHROP 1: Dylan Davis had a hat trick and an assist for the Black Bears (3-7-1) in the victory over the Rams (2-7-1) at Sawyer Ice Arena in Bangor.

Ridge Mitchell netted a pair and Ian Bouchard had a goal and two assists. Alex McCannell had three assists.

Ray Dineen scored in the second period for the Cony co-op and Ben Platt had the assist.

Brock Parks and Zack Ryder combined to stop 36 shots in the win and Landon Foster made 23 saves in the loss.
