Arming our teachers — has this world gone mad? It’s time parents were held responsible for their child’s behavior.
Teachers are expected to teach students how to behave in the school setting, how to be kind, and treat others with respect, all of which should be taught in the home.
Why aren’t the parents of the 6-year-old who shot his teacher in Newport News, Virginia, charged with attempted murder? They neglected to secure their gun. A small child mimics what he sees at home.
The National Rifle Association and the gun manufactures have done a great job preaching fear to the ignorant masses as they laugh all the way to the bank.
Our lawmakers are shifting responsibly of gun safety onto teachers; shame on them. Our elected officials need to pass laws to make parents and the gun manufacturers responsible for this mayhem.
Money talks.
