Francis Edward Berry

GREENE – Francis Edward Berry, 55, of Greene, passed away on March 18, 2023 after a lengthy, hard fought battle with COPD.

He was born April 4, 1967 at Skowhegan Memorial Hospital to Murray Berry and Phyllis Vincent-Berry. He was one of nine children born to his parents, and was a twin to brother, Philip. He attended schools in Madison as well as Franklin Alternative School in Auburn.

Frank managed First Choice Discount Muffler in Lewiston for many years, doing one of the things that he deeply loved, working on cars.

Aside from working on cars and tinkering with vehicles, he loved four wheeling and mudding. He had a deep love of anything to do with cars. He loved spending time with his best four-legged buddy, Brutus. Spending time with his grandchildren and children was a highlight for him, especially his youngest son, Camden. He also loved to be outdoors, whether it was fishing, camping, or sitting by a fire with his partner of 13 years, Christina.

Frank is survived by his partner, Christina Giddinge, and their son Camden; sons Xavier, Jared, and Tommy, daughters Katrina and Jenna; brothers Thomas “Tommy”, Sean, and Chris, sisters Susan and Kathy; his partner’s mom and stepdad, Melissa and Tony Moore; good friends Don Arel, Matt Stowe, and Andrew Proctor; 12 grandchildren; as well as countless nieces, nephews, and friends.

Frank was predeceased by his parents Phyllis and Murray “Pava”, as well as his stepfather Moe; sister, Leann “Lulu”, brothers Jimmy and Philip; nephew, Michael; sister-in-law and friend, Tina Marquis; and good friends Gail Brooks and Rob Waters.

A celebration of life will be held on April 22 at 1 p.m. at 50 Old Farm Rd. in Lewiston.
