Maine is already the way life should be. Our Maine license plates market us well — “Vacationland.”
Maine thrives on vacation tourism. “Vacation” is an extended period of leisure and recreation. Let’s keep it that way … the way it should be.
The current proposed and extreme late-term abortion bill would change Maine from being a state that thrives on leisure and recreation tourism to becoming an abortion tourism state.
Current law already addresses viability. Current law already allows for medical necessity.
I oppose this unnecessary, drastic bill.
