LIVERMORE – Faye Ann Laverdiere, 78, a resident of Livermore, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023, at her home with her loving family at her side. She was born Nov. 11, 1944, in Livermore Falls, the daughter of Birchard Hodgkins and Phyllis (Fahey) Hodgkins. She was a 1963 graduate of Livermore Falls High School. On April 20, 1963 in Livermore she married Maurice Laverdiere. They enjoyed 55 years together before his passing on Oct. 12, 2018. Through the years she worked at the shoe shop and later as a certified nurse assistant at Pomeroy Hill Nursing Home in Livermore Falls, Pinnacle Nursing Home in Canton and private duty home health. She enjoyed gardening, kayaking, horses, loved the water and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She will be remembered as a little spitfire, her sense of humor and her love of dancing. She is survived by her children, Tracy Laverdiere and wife Melissa of Colorado, Travis Laverdiere and wife Lori of Livermore, Tammie Veinotte of Skowhegan and Terri Greenwood and husband Ron of Livermore, 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and best friends and classmates, Trudy Greenleaf and Judy Roy. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, April 6, at FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church Street, Livermore Falls, Maine. Visitation will be from 12-1 p.m., prior to the funeral service.
