The future of Social Security depends on society as a whole entity, doing the right thing in order to ensure balance and a possibility of having a future as a legacy for our children.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink.

You can buy your kids books and send them to school, but you can’t make them read.

You can demonstrate the way to prosperity and all it promises, but you can’t force people to do the right thing if they’re hell bent on self-destruction.

Desperation is at hand as a grotesque reminder that we as a society have failed our own posterity, “our children,” to such a degree that the dark side is reeling and rocking to the beat of a dearth.

Our nation is aging — along with myself — and we must have a dedicated and enduring generation of Americans who actively believe that America is the “chosen land” where possibilities are realized by one simple rule: “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.” — John F. Kennedy.
