The Lewiston Public Library plans to partner with the Ancient Brothers Lodge No. 178 from Saturday, April 15, to Monday, May 31, to bring the Masonic Bikes for Books program to children in Lewiston and Auburn and give away eight new bikes.

To participate, youth in grades one through eight will fill out a book review at the 200 Lisbon St. library. For every book review completed, a raffle ticket with youths’ names will be entered into the drawing to win a bike.

Youths can submit more than one book review. A reception will be held for them to receive their bikes at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 17, in the Children’s Department at the library.

Members of the lodge aim to continue to work at improving the community at large, as well as to aid in the success of children and the future to come, according to a news release from Sara Turner at the library.
