The Hartford Heritage Society seeks donations of extra plants or shrubs for its annual plant sale, set for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 13, at the J & O Irish Museum on Main Street.
Perennials and smaller plants cost $3 each; shrubs and larger plants cost $5 each.
There also will be many raffle items inside the museum, according to a news release from Doreen Maxwell, society treasurer.
Society members can help dig up donated plants or shrubs. For more information, call 207-597-2270, 207-224-7147 or 207-212-9353.
Those who are spring cleaning and have items to donate to the June yard sale at the town hall can call the provided phone numbers. The society has storage space in the barn at the museum and offers some pick up. The date for the sale has yet to be determined.
All funds raised go towards the upkeep and restoration of the J & O Irish Museum.
