Margaret A. Noble

AUBURN – Margaret A. Noble, 87, of Auburn, passed away at Clover Manor on Thursday, April 20, 2023. Born in Anson, Maine, she was the youngest of eight children to John and Suzie (Serencha) Shinay. She worked as a legal secretary until her marriage to Merrill “John” Noble on Aug. 25, 1956. Mr. Noble passed away in 2001.

Margaret loved tennis, playing cards, and bingo.

She is survived by her two daughters, Nancy Benoit of Auburn, and Susan Scott of Poplarville, Mis., two sons, John Noble of Sharps Chapel, Tenn., and Mark Noble of Saint Petersburg, Fla., six grandchildren, Sasha Noble of Binghamton, N.Y., Kyle Noble of Orlando, Fla., Trevor Scott and Keely Scott both of Slidell, La., Kara Barham of Hattiesburg, Mis., and Summer Andrews of Bath, three great-grandchildren, Kerrigan Barham of Hattiesburg, Mis., and Quill Baker and Tidus Scott both of Slidell, La.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at 12 p.m., noon, at the Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Civic Center Drive, Augusta.
