The Pondtown Poets, founded in 2003, will be featured at the event. The group was founded by Winthrop native Susan Parks and takes its name from the history of Winthrop. The Pondtown Poets have met monthly for all of the group’s 20 years together, according to a news release from Richard Fortin, library director.

The current group consists of Sally Joy, Parks and John Seksay, all of Augusta; Anne Carter of Hallowell, and Dean Lebel of South Carolina.

Bookey Readings was started more than 25 years ago by Ted Bookey at the Harlow Gallery in Hallowell.

Refreshments will be served.
