To the Editor:
Nearly 30 people volunteered to help pick up trash along the roads in Greenwood last weekend. They gave up part of their Saturday morning to do this, and it was not just any Saturday morning.
It was the first sunny day in the 60s after a chilly week of rain and overcast skies. Those volunteers included three generations of the Wakefield family, a person who drove from Andover to help us in Greenwood, many of the regulars, and a number of new faces.
We all joined together to help make our little community a little better for everyone. Thank you very much to all of you.
