Lynette Bradford, 95, of Turner, was awarded the town’s Boston Post Cane by selectmen on May 1.
In attendance were Turner Selectmen Kevin Nichols, Steve Maheu, Kurt Youland, Angelo Terreri and Warren Hood.
Turner’s records for its Boston Post Cane go back only to 1925. Bradford is the 39th holder of the cane, according to a news release from Turner Town Manager Kurt Schaub.
The cane is to be awarded to the town’s oldest citizen.
