AREA — University of Maine Cooperative Extension will offer an in-person workshop for adults and youth on monarch butterflies 4 – 5:30 p.m. June 8 in South Paris. 

Join Master Gardener Volunteer Nancy Donovan for “Assisting the Path of the Monarch Butterfly”, a workshop about monarch butterflies and how to raise and release them. Learn about this seasonal visitor to Maine and how planting natives can provide essential habitat. Nancy Donovan is an avid native plant gardener who raised 171 monarch butterflies from egg to release last year alone.
