NORWAY — The Norway Museum & Historical Society (NMHS) is pleased to present their first program of the 2023 season on Tuesday, June 6 at 7 p.m. It will be a two-part program, starting with a brief history of the telephone system in Norway and concluding with an oral history-type interview with Janice Guilford, a longtime operator at the old Norway telephone office on Fair Street. Janice likely has some interesting stories. As a bonus, there will be an exhibit of telephone office artifacts on loan from a private collection.
The program will be held in the meeting room at NMHS, 471 Main Street in Norway. As always, there is no admission, all are welcome, and light
refreshments will be served.
