SOUTH PORTLAND – Patricia Irene Parks, 69, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023, at Mercy Hospital. Patricia, lovingly known as “Pat”, was born in Lewiston on Dec. 7, 1953, the daughter of Raymond L. and Theresa A. (Hemond) Patry.

Growing up in Lewiston and Minot, Pat attended elementary school at Holy Cross and Sacred Heart, and high school at Edward Little, graduating with the class of 1971. Pat will always be remembered as a hard worker in her jobs as a restaurant aid and brand ambassador and for her unwavering commitment to helping her son, Joshua, with his paper route.

Pat enjoyed playing Bingo, attending ceramic classes, doing crossword puzzles (she was a master at Word Search!), and board games. She loved her family and raised her daughter, Jessica and son, Joshua. Pat cherished the time she spent with them and with her granddaughters Ashley, Destiny, and Bella.

Patricia is survived by her children; and grandchildren; and her brothers Paul, Daniel, Philip, and David and sisters Suzanne, Pauline, and Catherine.

She was predeceased by her parents Raymond and Theresa; and daughter, Christine.

Visiting hours will be held from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Wednesday, May 31, at Chandler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 26 W. Dwinal St., Mechanic Falls. A Funeral Mass will be held at 1 p.m., May 31, at Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church, 117 Elm St., Mechanic Falls. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
