MECHANIC FALLS – Thomas W. Timberlake, 86, died on Friday, May 26, 2023, at his home.
He was born at home in Livermore, on March 11, 1937, the son of Wilbur and Casmiere (Jacmic) Timberlake. Thomas attended Auburn schools graduating from Edward Little High School class of 1955. While attending Edward Little, he lettered in football and baseball his three years there. He worked at Morin Brick in Danville to make the hard-earned dollar and get in shape for football.
Thomas was a Veteran of the United States Marines, serving for four years and was Honorably discharged in July of 1959. After the Marines, he worked as a machinist in California and Arizona.
He married Ginni McAllister Ridley on April 11, 1970, and they lived in Pennsylvania for a while before returning to Mechanic Falls where Thomas worked for Dielectric in Raymond. Joining carp Local #407, now #349 in Manchester, N.H., working as a millwright for 45 years.
Thomas enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors, football, baseball, especially the Red Sox and spending time with family. He also enjoyed the traveling he did during his time in the Marines.
Thomas is survived by his daughters Maia Freeman, and Diana Timberlake and her partner Tracy Morrison, stepchildren Jodie Bean, Julie Goodell, Jeana McCannell, True Ridley Jr.; siblings Marian Poulin, and Paul Timberlake; grandchildren Amelia and Evan Freeman, along with many step-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents Wilbur and Casmiere; and a sister, Helen.
