One more final cool day is in store for Maine, before warmer temps and sun take over from Wednesday through the end of the week.
It will remain warm this weekend, however, chances for rain will be returning.
Tuesday looks similar to Monday. Highs will reach the 60s and low 70s, again with more clouds than sun and with the chance for a shower or two.
By Wednesday, we finally return to sunny skies and warm temperatures. Highs will reach the low to mid 70s on Wednesday afternoon, great weather for the summer solstice!
Thursday continues the warming trend. Highs will reach the mid to upper 70s at the coast, with low 80s inland on Thursday afternoon, again with sunny skies.
Friday will be the warmest day this week. Highs will reach the low to mid 80s with more sunshine once again.
By the weekend, shower and storm chances return. Humidity levels also really ramp up, it’s looking quite steamy for both Saturday and Sunday. Storms will develop each afternoon, but temperatures will remain in the 70s and 80s.
Warm, humid weather with afternoon shower and storm chances will continue into next week.
