Nathan Brown of Chattanooga, Tennessee, wraps his paint roller Wednesday after priming the wall of a building at the intersection of Canal and Chestnut streets in Lewiston. His mural will include about 75 colors and start Friday. A mural was originally planned for the side of The Public Theatre on Maple Street, but his “wild geometric gradient abstract piece that plays with depth, dimension and movement” will cover the wall of the building owned by Auburn developer Tom Platz instead. Brown said he has painted murals all over the world, but this will be his first time working in Maine.  Funding comes from the federal Choice Neighborhoods initiative. Daryn Slover/Sun Journal
