NORWAY — The Norway Museum and Historical Society (NMHS) will host the next program of the summer, set for Tuesday, July 18 at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary of the First Universalist Church of Norway, 479 Main Street. Rev. Fayre Stephenson, minister of the church, will explain the meaning and history of the church’s eleven Tiffany-style windows.
The striking windows were installed in 1893 and are memorials to prominent church members of the 1800s. Most of those memorialized are still remembered for their contributions to the
history of Norway.
As always, the program is free and all are welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be served in the NMHS meeting room at 471 Main Street when the program concludes at the church.
