LIVERMORE FALLS  — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who went dumpster diving Tuesday at BJ’s Cannabis at 75 Main St.

Officer Andrew Gooldrup said a representative of the retail medical marijuana store ordered the man to leave the property, but he allegedly waited for the owner to leave and went back to the dumpster.

A surveillance camera recorded the man going into the dumpster, which was unlocked because trash was being picked up Tuesday, he said.

The man took an empty box of prerolled joints and two broken grinders used to grind marijuana buds, Gooldrup said.

The store owner does not normally dump any marijuana waste into the dumpster, disposing of it off the property, he said.

The owner wants police to bar the man from BJ’s Cannabis.

Anyone who knows the man is asked to call the Livermore Falls Police Department at 207-897-3424.
