BETHEL — Following an Aug. 22 executive session, the Bethel select board voted to hire a human resources consultant that they hope will help them find both an interim and permanent town manager to replace Natalie Andrews who resigned in mid-August.

Select Board Chair Meryl Kelly said she and Vice Chair Michele Cole will take the lead. They plan to craft a posting, look at the contract they will offer, and develop other proper criteria for both positions.
