Richard Deans of Hebron tents rows of hay Sunday in preparation for his father, Dick, to bale it. Richard says he first drove a McCormick Farmall Super A tractor when he was 9, and has worked with his father since Richard was a boy. The hay is to be used to feed Dick’s sheep and miniature horse. Dick says this summer’s weather “has been the worst as I’ve ever seen it.” He adds that when the weather is good, “people say there will be a passing cloud (and) you usually don’t need to think about it, but this summer you had to think about it.” Brewster Burns photo
