Corey Emmert

AUBURN – It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Corey Emmert – beloved son, brother, husband and father. He was a gentle spirit who had a natural talent for all things mechanical and electronic. He was an artist with wood and we will miss his exquisite handmade gifts.

Corey was born in Lewiston and educated in Auburn schools, graduating from Edward Little High School. From a young age, he taught himself to code and had a successful career as a Software Engineer. His quiet intelligence, humble nature, quirky sense of humor and willingness to help anyone endeared himself to family, friends and coworkers.

Above all, Corey loved his family and his animals. His kids were his world and he enjoyed spending time with them. He always had time to play, hunt for bugs and frogs and build with Legos.

He is survived by his wife Serena, children Kai, Asher and Reese, parents Mary Ann and Rick, brother Anthony (Renay), nieces Ryleigh and Savana, and nephew Julian, extended family, coworkers, friends and his beloved puppy Juno.

He was predeceased by his grandparents Lewis and Alberta Murphy.

There will be no service at this time.
