LIVERMORE FALLS — A student waiting for a school bus Friday morning on Moose Hill Road jumped out of the way to avoid being hit by a car that was hit by another, Officer Trevor Gagnon said.
Brooke Pelletier, 16, of Livermore Falls drove her 2015 Subaru Crosstrek out of her driveway at 75 Moose Hill Road into the path of a 2008 Hyundai Tiburon driven by Andrew McDonald, 42, of Jay. McDonald tried to avoid a collision but his car was hit on the passenger side, pushing in the doors, ripping off the muffler and causing other damage, Gagnon said.
The student waiting in the driveway of another house jumped out of the way to avoid being hit, Gagnon said.
Pelletier’s vehicle and a retaining wall were also damaged.
No one was injured, and no citations were issued, he said.
