LEWISTON — Lewiston High School was evacuated after someone called in a bomb threat to the front office around 1:20 p.m. Monday, according to Superintendent Jake Langlais.

Students left the building for about 30 minutes, he said. Officials followed protocols, which it does not publicize.

Lewiston Police spokesman Lt. Derrick St. Laurent said officials checked the building and determined there was no threat. The investigation into who phoned the threat is ongoing, he said.

Lewiston Fire Department also responded to the call.
