To me, voting for the right person for mayor is all about character.
We need a person who can look at the bigger picture of our community. We need someone who needs to be concerned about the diverse views of everyone regardless of status.
We don’t need someone who either merely listens to individuals who are like-minded or to those with personal agendas. We need an open-minded person who meets and talks with those on the street.
We need someone who is intent on focusing on the issue rather than be distracted by bickering and back stabbing.
I know such a person, and his name is Carl Sheline.
I hope residents vote for him for a second term as mayor of Lewiston.
Ed Plourde, Lewiston
