Carol Cayer
CANTON – Carol Cayer, 84, died Saturday Sept. 23, 2023, at the Pinnacle Health and Rehab facility in Canton.
Born in Rumford on April 6, 1939, she was a daughter of Floyd and Ethel (Welch) Child. Carol was a graduate of Dixfield High School.
She was married in Rumford on Sept. 14, 1957, to Paul N Cayer who died in Peru on July 8, 2020.
Survivors include her daughter Linda Elliot and husband Matthew of Andover and sons, Joseph and wife Bonnie of Peru and Scott of Peru; grandchildren, Jamie Smith, Andrew Cayer, and Diana Cayer.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 28, 2023, at St. John Cemetery in Rumford. Arrangements are under the direction of the Meader & Son Funeral Home 3 Franklin St Rumford, ME.
