Priscilla E. Ivy
MEXICO – Priscilla E. Ivy, 84, of Mexico, passed away peacefully on the afternoon of Monday, Sept. 18, 2023, after a long battle with COPD.
Priscilla was born in Dixfield on Feb. 4, 1939 to Marguerite and John Wing and three brothers, Terry, Reginald, and Danny Wing. After high school, Priscilla engaged her adventurous spirit and traveled the country and parts of the world, living everywhere from Mississippi to California before eventually meeting her husband, Russell, and settling down in Maine where she was a beloved member of every community she joined.
Priscilla lived a long and storied life full of love. A member of the Eagles in Dixfield, when she wasn’t creating art in her home, she was out with her friends at Bingo. Priscilla’s passion for art was only surpassed by her love of helping people who needed her. She had a generous heart that was cherished by all who knew her and was a beacon of light. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family.
She is survived by her husband, Russell Ivy; her brothers Terry and Reggie Wing; children Nelson (Jeep) Frost and Marguerite Dodds; her grandchildren, Stephen Gammon, Justin Anderson, Jonathan Anderson, Katie Anderson, Ashley Marion (nee Scott), Missy Mikkonen (nee Abbott), and Abby Beggs; her great-grandchildren, Emma, Lily, and Niklaus Marion, and Vera Mikkonen; her nephews David Wing and Danny Wing.
She was predeceased by her brother, Danny Wing and his wife Becky; her daughters Mary Beggs and Judy Gammon; her granddaughter, Bethany Beggs; and her first husband, Norman Bellegrade.
Services are still being planned and will be announced at a further date.
