TURNER – Robert B. Plummer, 90, of Turner, peacefully passed away Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2023, at his home with family. He was born Nov. 29, 1932, in Lewiston, the son of Robert F. and Jane (White) Plummer. He was a graduate of Monmouth Academy. He was the loving husband of Barbara (Matthews) Plummer of Turner. They enjoyed 63 years together before her passing on Oct. 3, 2015. Robert was the owner of W. D. Matthews in Auburn. Robert was a member of the Nezinscot Lodge #101 in Turner, and a lifetime member of the Kora Temple Shrine in Lewiston. He enjoyed spending time on his farm in Turner and with his family.

He is survived by his daughter, Gail Vincent of St. Petersburg, Fla., his sons, Scott Plummer and wife Virginia of Turner, and Craig Plummer of Turner, five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, his brothers, Blaine Plummer of Monmouth and William Plummer and wife Barbara of Falmouth, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents, his wife and sister, Anne Johnson.
