I am writing in support of Leroy Walker, who is running for Auburn city councilor.
Ward 5 has come far with Leroy’s leadership. All residents of Ward 5 have the opportunity each month to meet with Leroy at the council meeting at City Hall, at the monthly Community Downtown Business meetings at Rolly’s Diner, neighborhood watch meetings at Sixth Street Congregational Church, and Saturday night bean supper at the same church.
Citizens will find Leroy there, continuously making himself available to his constituents.
The list goes on … safe Ward 5 Halloween and Christmas celebrations for the children; something for all ages at Auburn’s Community Center, which he was instrumental in starting; collecting clothing for those in need. This is all good work for a healthy community.
A vote for Leroy is a vote for experience and a vibrant community well into the future.
