
PERU — Jenna Leigh Gordon of Peru, the daughter of Philip Bowman and Stephanie Miles of Turner, and Jason Harold Packard, also of Peru, the son of Stephen and Grace Packard of Peru, announce their engagement.
The future bride is a Class of 1998 graduate of Dirigo High School. She is currently enrolled in the human services program at Central Maine Community College and will graduate in the spring of 2024 with an associate’s degree. She also works for two in-home care companies as a personal support specialist and will become state certified in November 2023.
The future groom is a 1996 graduate of Dirigo High School. He has worked as a millwright for over 23 years traveling all over the United States as well as working in Maine.
The couple not only went to high school together but also met as children in the Sabbath School class at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Dixfield. They have both returned to that same church and are becoming members of the congregation and plan to live in Peru.
They have begun planning their special day and both are looking forward to celebrating with their dearest family and friends. The wedding will be held at the Dixfield Seventh Day Adventist Church on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2024.
