AUBURN — The Business Department at Central Maine Community College is set to host a Nonprofit Career Fair from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday.
The event will be held in the gymnasium in Kirk Hall at the Auburn campus, 1250 Turner St.
Representatives from over 35 organizations will be present. Types of organizations include local educational institutions, housing, financial, addiction, and sexual and physical violence initiatives, mental health initiatives and social justice associations.
The fair offers an opportunity for students to learn about the wide variety of nonprofit business careers available and for organizations to meet firsthand with prospective candidates preparing for entry-level positions in the nonprofit business field.
