BOYS SOCCER
FRYEBURG 3, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 1: Andre DiMolfetta converted a penalty kick just 23 seconds into the second half to break a 1-1 tie, lifting the eighth-seeded Raiders (11-4) over the No. 9 Patriots (5-8-2) in a Class B South prelim at Fryeburg.
Hugo Sala Marseca contributed a goal and an assist for Fryeburg, while Nivaldo Lucato de Souza Neto also scored.
Noah Hebert was the goal scorer for Gray-New Gloucester.
GIRLS SOCCER
WELLS 2, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 1: Grace Badger scored both goals, one assisted by Caitlin Shiels, as the seventh-seeded Warriors (8-5-2) downed the 10th-seeded Patriots (5-10) in a Class B South prelim in Wells.
Wells moves on to face second-seeded Cape Elizabeth in a quarterfinal on Tuesday.
