Michael S. Averill II

BUCKFIELD – Michael S. Averill II, 40, of Buckfield died unexpectedly Thursday morning due to injuries sustained in an accident.

He was born Dec. 26, 1982, in Lewiston the son of Michael S. and Jane Averill, Sr. Mike attended local schools and graduated from Buckfield High school in 2002.

Mike worked most recently for and with Everett Propane and Everett excavation for the last five years , all the while building his family’s future by creating his own company Averill Properties.

He married his wife Marisa DeBlois in 2015 in Turner. They built a beautiful family home in Buckfield close to where he grew up. They enjoyed taking adventures with their children and exploring all that life had to offer them together. As a small-town boy does, Mike loved to hunt, fish, and run his boys around on a four-wheeler. He loved watching his sons grow and being with them as much as he could as the things he embraced the most was being a father and being a family.

He is survived by his wife, Marisa Averill of Buckfield, their three sons, Mason, Morgan and Maxwell; his parents, Mike and Jane of Buckfield; his sister Tara Levesque, and her husband Andy and their children, Aniston and Luke of Turner.

A celebration of Mikes life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023 at the Buckfield High School in the auditorium. Arrangements are in the care of Hall Funeral Home in Casco.
