TOPSHAM — Edward Little’s Class A North boys soccer quarterfinal against Mt. Ararat was suspended at the end of regulation due to the shootings in Lewiston.

The score is tied 2-2. It is not yet known when overtime will be played.

MT. ABRAM 4, NYA 0: Morgan Thibodeau scored two goals and set up another, and top-seeded Mt. Abram pulled away with three second-half goals in a 4-0 Class C South quarterfinal win over eighth-seeded North Yarmouth Academy in Salem Township.

Ash Rollins and Payton Mitchell also scored for the Roadrunners (15-0), and Bear Rollins had an assist. Logan Dube and Trey Reed split time in net for the Roadrunners and faced only one shot combined.

Gavin Thomas made 10 saves for NYA.

Mt. Abram’s win sets up a showdown with fourth-seeded Waynflete (8-5-2) in the semifinals later this week.

SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 0, CARRABEC 0: Lucas Vicneire had at hat trick for the Cobras (15-0) victory against the Phoenix (2-11-1) in an 8-player South quarterfinal game in North Anson.

Desmond Robinson and Seth Price contributed two goals apiece for Carrabec, while Christopher Caruso, Isaiah Haynes and Jacob Haynes each had one.

Blake Gemelli made six saves for Spruce Mountain.

LEWISTON 1, MT. BLUE 0: Mohammed Gabow scored on a header in overtime to lift the top-seeded Blue Devils to a quarterfinal win over the eighth-seeded Cougars in Lewiston.

Lewiston will host the winner of the suspended game between Edward Little and Mt. Ararat in the Class A North semifinals.

FIELD HOCKEY
SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 8, WAYNFLETE 0: The top-seeded Phoenix (14-1) scored two goals in each period and advance to the Class C South semifinals with a quarterfinal win over the Flyers (5-8) in Jay.

Spruce Mountain will host No. 4 St. Dominic (7-8) later this week.

Olivia Mastine scored four of the goals — one in each quarter — and assisted on two for Spruce Mountain. Brooklyn Fournier added one goal and a pair of assists.

Adell Pease, Avery Bessey and Aaylah Herrera also scored goals, and Mary Hamblin had an assist.

Waynflete goalie Mya Clark made 24 saves.

GIRLS SOCCER
CARRABEC 2, TELSTAR 1: Leah Price scored twice to lead the fourth-seeded Cobras to an 8-person South quarterfinal win in North Anson.

Molly Hay added an assist for Carrabec (9-5-1) while Macie Plourde made nine saves.

No. 5 Telstar finishes its season at 5-7-1.
