Another hunting season begins this Saturday, Oct. 28.

I hope people respect property owners and, whenever possible, ask their permission before taking loaded weapons onto their land. More importantly, they should fully identify their target and beyond, and not shoot at noises or rustling bushes.

They should remember Karen Wood, Megan Ripley and Karen Wrentzel, and hunt responsibly.
